 As Sir Francis Bacon once wrote, “A man would do well to carry a pencil in his pocket and write down the thoughts of the moment. Those that come unsought for are commonly the most valuable."

 

Unfortunately for some, fortunately for others, we no longer rely on pencil and paper. But the mechanism of transcription is inconsequential, as long as the exercise is conducted.  From pencil and paper,  to pen on the back of a napkin, to typing away on a typewriter, to now, clacking away on a computer keyboard, it all accomplishes the same goal: to record our thoughts. ​  I hope these musings will be useful to those willing to read. There will be no consistent topic, and no guarantee of posting frequency.
